EMPLOYEE RECREATION COORDINATOR
Available Positions: 8 Year Round Positions: No Seasonal Positions: Yes
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS: Reports directly to the Employee Recreation Supervisor.
RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Assists supervisor in coordination, implementation, and evaluation of Park-wide and location Recreational programs. 2. Responsible for publicizing and promoting all recreation activities via posters, announcements and personal contacts. 3. Responsible for collecting and accounting for all fees remitted, promptly and accurately completing accounting reports. 4. Maintain recreation facilities, equipment, and supplies. 5. Promptly and accurately complete Recreation program reports. 6. Communicate daily with Park-wide and location Recreation staff. 7. Adhere to the program procedures, philosophies, and goals.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: 1. Earned or is working toward a degree in Recreation, Physical Education or closely related field. 2. Basic leadership qualities. 3. Strong communication skills, both written and oral. 4. Strong organization skills. 5. Knowledge of organizing and implementing programs. 6. Demonstrates flexibility with working conditions and facilities.
