EMPLOYEE RECREATION SUPERVISOR
Available Positions: 7 Year Round Positions: No Seasonal Positions: Yes
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS: Reports directly to the Assistant Employee Recreation Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Coordinate, implement, and evaluate Park-wide and location Recreational programs. 2. Supervise and train area Employee Recreation Coordinators in all aspects of the program operations. 3. Publicize and promote all recreation activities via posters, announcements and personal contacts. 4. Responsible for collecting and accounting for all fees remitted, promptly and accurately completing accounting reports, time cards, schedules, and program evaluations. 5. Manage, maintain and supervise recreation facilities, equipment and supplies. 6. Communicate and coordinate with Location Management and Park-wide Recreation staff on a daily basis. 7. Compliment Park-wide programs with location events fulfilling the needs of the area employees. 8. Adhere to the program procedures, philosophies and goals.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: 1. Earned or is working toward a degree in Recreation, Physical Education or closely related field. 2. Previous leadership qualities. 3. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. 4. Strong organization and administrative skills. 5. Knowledge of Yellowstone Park Co-op Recreation helpful. 6. Flexible with working conditions and hours.
