KITCHEN MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Available Positions: 5      Year Round Positions: No      Seasonal Positions: Yes

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS: Reports directly to Location Maintenance Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assure all kitchen equipment is maintained and in operating condition.
2. Assist in training and familiarization of kitchen personnel to equipment.
3. Accountable for materials used and ordering of items needed for job completion or inventory replacement per established Company procedure.
4. Does other non-kitchen maintenance related repair and maintenance tasks when necessary.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
1. Knowledge of gear drives, belt drives, chain drives, belts, shifting and bearings and various flexible couplings.
2. Knowledge of various centrifugal pumps, gear pumps, automatic valves and air valves.
3. Skilled in use of precision tools, i.e. micrometer, caliper dial indicator, etc.
4. Skilled in use of tools common to the trade.
5. Basic working knowledge of plumbing and steam systems, electricity and electrical systems.
6. Respiratory protection will be worn when required. OSHA standards require a clean-shaven face - medical screening may be required.
7. Comply with all current related safety and health requirements.
8. Able to read, understand and comply with all current Company policies and procedures.
9. Must possess physical stamina and condition to withstand heavy labor related work in an outside environment.
10. Must be capable of lifting objects weighing up to 70 pounds.
11. Must possess a valid driver's license.
