LAUNDRY MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Available Positions: 2      Year Round Positions: No      Seasonal Positions: Yes

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS: Reports directly to Laundry Maintenance Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Keep all laundry equipment maintained and in operating condition.
2. Assist with maintenance, safety and operating procedures of laundry equipment.
3. Help maintain preventative maintenance program on laundry equipment.
4. Accountable for materials used and ordering of items needed for job completion or inventory replacement per established Company procedure.
5. Does non-laundry related maintenance and repair as necessary.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
1. Working knowledge of boilers and mechanical systems.
2. Knowledgeable in electrical, mechanical and plumbing skills.
3. Ability to read blueprints.
4. Knowledgeable with handling and storage of hazardous material.
5. Skilled in use of tools common to the trade.
6. This position will require the use of respiratory protection. OSHA standards require a clean-shaven face and a medical screening.
7. Comply with all current related safety and health requirements.
8. Able to understand and comply with all current Company policies and procedures.
9. Possess physical stamina and condition to withstand heavy labor related work in an outside environment.
10. Must be capable of lifting objects weighing up to 70 pounds.
11. Must possess a valid driver's license.

AUTHORITIES:
1. Work with maintenance and location personnel.
