R&M STAFF ASSISTANT
Available Positions: 4 Year Round Positions: No Seasonal Positions: Yes
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS: Reports directly to Location Maintenance Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Provide location maintenance with materials necessary to perform R&M duties. 2. Maintain and issue location inventory and implement all records and reports connected therewith. 3. Accountable for materials needed to maintain location inventory to conform to Company purchasing, warehouse and freight procedures. 4. Receive, document and store physical inventory items while maintaining storeroom security. 5. Transfer and issue material as needed from Gardiner Warehouse or location to location. 6. Maintain records and reports as requested. Answer telephone and serve as message/information center. 7. Conduct periodic physical inventory of all storeroom items. 8. Does non-related job tasks when necessary.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: 1. Knowledge of inventory control and general accounting procedures; basic computer functions and operations; telephone handling procedures; typing and adding machine skills. 2. Comply with all current related safety and health requirements. 3. Able to read, understand and comply with all current Company policies and procedures. 4. Must be capable of lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds. 5. Must possess a valid driver's license.
AUTHORITIES: Work with maintenance and location personnel.
