Available Positions: 7      Year Round Positions: No      Seasonal Positions: Yes

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: Reports to the location Dispatcher/Supervisor and/or the Manager of Transportation and Interpretation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Responsible for providing a knowledgeable and enjoyable tour which is interpretive in nature to park visitors who are traveling through Yellowstone.
2. Responsible for keeping a tour on a schedule.
3. Responsible for the prompt and correct completion of all required reports.
4. Responsible for representing Amfac in a positive manner to Park guests.
5. Responsible for a clean and neat appearance in the prescribed Company uniform.
6. Responsible for showing courtesy to guests at all times.
7. Must be punctual.
8. Must provide accurate and appropriate information on tours.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
1. Must be knowledgeable about Yellowstone Park or have the ability to learn about the history, geology, flora and fauna, and geography of Yellowstone in a short training period.
2. Most have reading skills in order to continually upgrade and update tour information.
3. Must have the physical stamina to stand for 8 hours and lead groups on short walks up to a mile in length.
4. Must be able to communicate effectively with park visitors.

AUTHORITIES:
1. To enhance park guests' understanding, appreciation, and enjoyment of Yellowstone Park.
2. To communicate with personnel at Front Desks and in Group Tours about tour group information.
