LAUNDRY OFFICE ASSISTANT
Available Positions: 1 Year Round Positions: No Seasonal Positions: Yes
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS: Reports to the Manager, Laundry Operations
RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Monitor incoming phone calls, mail, and visitors. 2. Maintains accurate record keeping: Kronos, fuel and mileage records, filing system, linen discard and daily production poundage. 3. Preparation of all written data including memos, manuals, and forms. 4. Track, monitor and adjust inventories: sheets, terry cloth, napkins and tablecloths. 5. Assist in completing uniform inventories. 6. Assist when needed in Laundry operations. 7. Complete special projects as assigned.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: 1. Office organizational skills. 2. Business communication skills. 3. General knowledge of office equipment including computers. 4. Knowledge of company policies. 5. Knowledge of Laundry policies and procedures.
AUTHORITY: 1. To recommend changes to the Laundry Managers to ensure efficient operations. 2. To respond immediately to any unsafe situation.
