RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Responsible for all duties of Distribution Center Help position.
2. Directs loading and unloading of truck in conjunction with deliveries from distribution center to gift shops.
3. Maintains control of issue documents and box counts for merchandise deliveries to the gift shops.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
1. Must 21 years of age, possess a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
2. Demonstrates safe operation of cargo van and one-ton truck while driving to park wide locations with seasonal road conditions, including backing up to loading dock areas; gives attention to necessary vehicle maintenance.
3. Able to cooperate with gift shop managers and staff in handling merchandise transfers between shops and returning mail orders, merchandise and empty boxes to the distribution center.
4. When not making deliveries, is able to perform all duties the Distribution Center Help position; receiving, pricing, distribution and inventory control.
5. Must be able to push, lift and carry boxes weighing up to 100 pounds.
6. Understands correct packing and loading of fragile merchandise, in order to insure safe arrival of items on delivery.
